My name is Barbara (Barbie) and I am the creator and owner of The Wildflower by La Bougie Jibara. I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and never in a million years did I ever think that I would own an Empanada Shop. It was always a dream of mine since I was a child to own a shop like the ones I used to visit as a kid living my best life on the island. Fast forward to 2022 now living in South Florida I decided to open The Wildflower shop and it’s all due to my wonderful customers. I'm here to share some of the most amazing street style foods my culture has to offer. With my Caribbean touch it will surely make you feel like you are back home. I specialize in street style plant-based empanadas. Not only do I offer the traditional beef empanada, but I offer 12 other delicious flavors that will have you craving for more.

My shop is a quaint little spot in Lake Park Fl that is run by myself and my wife. This makes the experience personal and authentic. Our shop is our second home and you will feel that when you arrive.

This shop is for a 2 year project and the shop will close on November 2024 but will continue to service our customers by other avenues.

We are delighted to announce the completion of our 2-year Empanada Shop Project! It was an incredible journey, and we are so grateful to have been a cherished part of the Lake Park community. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank every one of you for your unwavering support and for being a part of our mission.

Over the past two years, we have been blessed to make amazing connections and forge friendships that we know will last a lifetime. Our journey would not have been possible without the love and enthusiasm of our wonderful customers.

Moving forward, we will be choosing a few select locations to feature our empanadas and meals. Please continue to monitor our website and social media for pop-up events soon.
